The event was organized by the association \u201cAnir for Amazigh Moroccans in Canada,\u201d in partnership with the \u201cWaziz Association,\u201d and brought together a large gathering of Moroccan expatriates alongside guests who traveled from the United States.<\/p>\n

One of the most striking moments of the night came when Abdelatif Akyous, originally from Dcheira Jihadia in the Souss region of Morocco, appeared dressed in the traditional \u201cBoujloud\u201d costume\u2014an iconic figure deeply rooted in the cultural rituals of Souss. His appearance drew admiration and excitement from the audience, marking what many described as a symbolic first: the introduction of the Boujloud tradition in such a form within Canada.<\/p>\n
